Rebranded from Waffle studio, same owners. About 4 tables available if you want to chat or study. Wifi available. Lots of parking. I got the viet coffee with brulee and it was delicious! The coffee was strong which is how I prefer my viet coffee. I would say it's close enough to Da Vien's coffee. If you come between 8-10 am they have a deal for buy one get one coffee 50% off! I also got their taiyaki. Although their coffee was good I cannot say the same for the taiyaki. I would not get this again. It was super flimsy, the texture was odd, and absolutely very minimal filling. For one of the fish, I only had a small bite that had custard. Priced at 2 for $5 or 5 for $10. Fillings include custard, cheese cream, chedder cheese, nutella, and taro paste. Overall, I would just come back for the coffee!

Stopped by here to get some work done and I would say to give it a try if you're in the area. My partner got the Vietnamese coffee and it's really strong but the flavors are very balanced. Remember that leans on the sweeter side since it's a Vietnamese iced coffee. I got the strawberry matcha latte and I would say to pass on this - the strawberry sauce was tart making the milk taste sour and the matcha flavor wasn't very strong. The egg waffle and taiyaki were both good too. I think they use a similar batter for both so if you're conflicted on what to get, I would say to pick what texture and flavor you want. For those who want to study here, there's free wifi and a few outlets. I think it can get a little loud with some of the equipment sometimes but it's bearable with headphones. Employees are friendly and provide recommendations if you ask. Parking: free private lot

Hands down the best Viet coffee in SGV from my perspective. Flavor of coffee is strong and flavorful, and they are able to adjust sweetness well to your desires. They have many variations as well, which I am a fan of them all- including Black Sesame, Ube, and Egg/Brulee flavored. My favorite is the Egg/Brulee one, but all are amazing. The mini mall is a bit tough to get to at a busy intersection, but parking isn't difficult in the mini mall. Overall a great find. Fantastic coffee in an unassuming place, with fair prices. Highly recommend

Their drinks are legit. Vietnamese coffee is thick and very delicious. Coconut coffee is pretty good too. Not as coffee-y and more coconut-y toast-y. House coffee has salty cream on top. If you like savory taste when drinking coffee. I think the hip viet coffee game is finally coming to sgv. No need to drive down to oc anymore.

It looks like they still do bogo50% off before 10am. I usually get a large but since the coffee is strong and will keep me up with just half of it I just get the small now. I used to drink half then save the other half for the next morning. It looks like they upgraded the inside furniture so it looks alot better than before. They were open on thanksgiving with their usual hours. Close at 5pm.

OVERALL : A newly rebranded and low key boba spot in El Monte (626 area)! They used to be a business called "Waffle Studio" but it looks like they have rebranded and introduced a full drink menu while still selling bubble waffles. The store itself was small but cozy. It looks like they are still relatively new so things were still in progress in terms of decor but they did have tables set up for customers to sit. There was only 1 employee working the day I came, but she was patient and prompt when taking / making the orders! We didn't try any waffles this time but decided on some drinks. PARKING : They have a parking lot so you do not have to worry about parallel parking. The lot is small and tucked away though, so I found it helpful to use my GPS and drive slowly to make sure I didn't miss it! FOOD/DRINKS : Ube Latte - phin style Vietnamese coffee w/ Ube foam -- the coffee was strongggg but in a good way! Def lives up to the Vietnamese coffee rep of being bold, creamy, and sweet! The ube adds a nice touch as well. Matcha Brûlée - one of their blended drinks made with a brûlée cream around the cup and a matcha slush as the main drink base. Not too sweet, matcha flavor did come through! I usually don't get blended drinks but this was nice for a hot day as an afternoon treat!

AMBIANCE - Located on a busy corner, B'Lets Roastery is a little bit hard to get into. There's a backside entrance on Mabel Ave, if people find that easier. Inside boasts beautiful marble and gold accents with plants throughout. This is a cute, aesthetic establishment for sure. FOOD - Almost all of the reviews I saw focused on their Ube Coffee, which is a Vietnamese coffee that has an Ube cream top. This drink lived up to the hype! It was rich and bold but not overly strong and I think it was mellowed out with the ube cream top. I would definitely get it again! They do put a lot of ice, so I would ask for light ice and while you're at it, just get the large size haha. SERVICE - A nice woman greeted me and took my order. I believe she was the owner so overall, good service. NOTE(S) - wifi + indoor seating + a few outlets

It is so hard to find legit viet coffee nowadays without having to go into a Vietnamese restaurant. AND this place is super affordable. I rather spend $6 here than other coffee places. I got the Ube Phin and it was DELICIOUS! The coffee itself is a strong bitter taste and when it's mixed with ube flavor (not powdery at all), it's a perfect blend! Can't wait to go back and try other drinks!
